Magnificent Obsession, Lloyd C. Douglas'ın 1929 tarihli aynı adlı romanından uyarlanan 1935 yapımı bir drama filmidir. Sarah Y. Mason, Victor Heerman ve George O'Neil tarafından uyarlanan ve John M. Stahl tarafından yönetilen filmde Irene Dunne, Robert Taylor, Charles Butterworth ve Betty Furness rol alıyor .
Robert Taylor'ı yıldızlığa yükselten film, New York City prömiyerini 30 Aralık 1935'te Radio City Music Hall'da yaptı ve soğuk havaya rağmen büyük ilgi gördü.[1]
Film 1954'te yönetmen Douglas Sirk tarafından yeniden çekildi ve başrollerde Rock Hudson ve Jane Wyman vardı.
