Pinwright's Progress (sh. Pinwrightov napredak) bila je britanska humoristička TV serija koja se od 1946. do 1947. godine emitirala na programu BBC Television Service, a koja predtavlja prvi redovno prikazivani sitkom u historiji televizije.[1] Radnja je bila smještena u trgovinu Macgillygally's Stores, čiji se vlasnik (koga je tumačio James Hayter, morao nositi sa beskrupuloznim poslovnim suparnicima, ali i problemima vezanim uz 80-godišnjeg gluhog pomoćnika. Epizode su se emitirale uživo iz studija u Alexandra Palaceu, te osim fotografija sa seta ne postoje druge snimke.
