Tacheng (Tacheng)

Tacheng (kinesisk: 塔城; pinyin: Tǎchéng; uigursk: چۆچەك / Çöçek; kasakisk: شاۋەشەك / Шәуешек / Şäwesek) er et byfylke i prefekturet Tacheng i den autonome region Xinjiang i Folkerepublikken Kina. Det ligger nært grensen mot Kasakhstan. Tidligere ble det kalt Chuguchak, særlig i europeisk gjengivelse.

Befolkningen var på 146 511 innbyggere i 1999.^[1]

Byfylket består av tre subdistrikter og seks kommuner (hvorav en nasjonalitetskommune for folkegruppen daur). De er (pinyin/kinesisk):
